An Aussie living abroad - I am originally from Melbourne, Australia. I moved to Vancouver in August 2016 looking for a new career in a new city. Currently living in East Van with my wife and some other housemates. (Seems the rent here is just as high as Melbourne).
In my spare time I like to do CrossFit, go salsa dancing and enjoy good coffee.
I've been in management consulting for the last 10 years doing mainly technical analysis and delivery type roles.
Now looking for a change from corporate IT, I see web development as an interesting, more personal line-of-work with great long-term prospects.
I have developed some sites in Wordpress using my basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Built with the QODE Bridge theme for Wordpress.
Graduating from RED Academy, I am looking to join an agency to build my knowledge, learn from my colleagues and develop a professional network.
All going well, in a few years I can become a digital nomad and build websites for a living from sunny Mexico!
